About us

Our story

TDA was founded in 1996 when Heather Westgate and Neil Fox had a vision for a new kind of agency: modelled on a commercial business, TDA would be closely aligned to its clients' way of doing business and more flexible than a typical agency.

TDA drew together good business practice and seamlessly connected the specialist agency skills into its operation. Clients liked the way we did things: for the next two years, we were the fastest growing agency in the UK - with clients including Bank of Scotland, the AA and Iceland.

In 2003 TDA became independent and wholly-owned by its board of Directors.

The drive behind TDA has always been simple: to be the best agency in the UK. And that drive and passion has led many clients to stay with us, even though they had moved on their own careers to new companies.

In 2009 we realised our vision and moved up a level, merging with digital specialists V2i. Integrating our operations means we now have digital strategy and capability in the mix. It's a utopia for us, an agency with roots in direct marketing, because we can see and measure customer behaviour as it happens in real time too.

Clients who have taken advantage of our new model agency include Lloydspharmacy, The Co-operative, Zurich and Samaritans.

Today TDA offer clients solutions... and have the full capability to deliver them. Our business philosophy still holds true in our mission: to measure ourselves by what we deliver for our clients. That's always challenging... just the way we like it.
